Our semi-intensive beginners course, Earnest Wish, is something you are looking for. Earnest Wish is a two hours four-sessions course for beginners of Modern Calligraphy who wants to start from the real basic and appreciate the joy of improving step-by-step. As calligraphy enthusiast, we are not easy to be satisfied when others ‘like’ calligraphy, we want something more - they invested their time on it and improves. This 4-session is not intense as it sounds like, it is an extended version of Explorer Momentos, with a broader and deeper curriculum, as Vanessa, the founder of Euca Nectar, would like to share some more details as time is allowed, hence strengthen your basic skills on calligraphy, like your posture, strength, angles and the coordination of everything. At the end of the course, you will be able to write as your visualize, and most importantly, in your own calligraphy style, with confidence. Main teaching language will be in Cantonese with English if required, and our brief learning target includes: · Another start of using our pencil · Brush Pen challenge · Dip Pen world exploration · Lowercase and basic strokes practice · Instant error spotting and personalized advice providing · Light homework to ensure improvement · Finding your own calligraphy style and also conform to visual harmony Tools and materials will be included: . Pencil . Pental Brush Pen . Oblique pen holder . A Nikko G nib . Small bottle of Speedball India Ink . Extended version of lowercase lettering practice . Euca Nectar’s Alphabet Preview Card . A 8” wooden frame with YOUR handwritten quote. I recommend patient learners who appreciates the beauty of practicing and long-term improvement to join the course. Unlike the one-off workshop, this course rely on mutual effort investment more, participant also have the responsibility to practice after the lessons to facilitate learning progress.
